NIOS October 2026 Exam Fee Dates: 10th & 12th
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the official exam fee notification for the upcoming Secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) October 2026 Public Examinations. Students must pay their requisite examination fees online through the official portal.
Key Exam Fee Details
- Theory Exam Fee: Rs. 300/- per subject.
- Practical Exam Fee: Additional Rs. 150/- per subject having a practical component.
Important Payment Dates
- Without Late Fee: 21st May, 2026 to 20th June, 2026.
- With Late Fee (Rs. 150/- per subject): 21st June, 2026 to 30th June, 2026.
- With Consolidated Late Fee (Rs. 1600/- per learner): 1st July, 2026 to 10th July, 2026.
Important Note for Senior Secondary (12th) Students: Please ensure a compulsory gap of two years from the year of passing your 10th examination to appear for all subjects. If you do not have this two-year gap, you can register for a maximum of only four subjects in the upcoming October 2026 exams.
